The BANKSETA is a statutory body established through the Skills Development Act of 1998 to enable its stakeholders to advance the national and global position of the banking and micro-finance industry.

The BANKSETA is seeking to appoint a Project Manager for its Discretionary Grant Funding Window Project as per Request for Proposal document no:  420.4710.293/002.

MEMBERSHIP FEES UNCHANGED IN 2009
Due to the current economic climate, PMSA will not increase membership fees in 2009.

The 2008 fees will, therefore, apply until further notice.

Associate Members: R530
Full Members: R570
Professional Members: R1 100

(new applications for full or professional membership will incur a once-off grading fee cost of R228)

PMSA members who originally joined the association prior to March 2007 are required to renew their membership by 1 March each year.

Members who joined after March 2007 are renewable in the anniversary month of their joining.

Electronic invoices will be issued to members by email, so kindly ensure that your email details are up-to-date.

INDUSTRY UPDATE
SAQA have now registered 3 new qualifications for use in the project management sector. These are:
  • NQF level 5 – National Certificate in Project Management
  • NQF level 5 - National Diploma in Project Management
  • NQF level 4 – Further Education Certificate in Project Support Services

Also registered is a unit standard at NQF3 that is designed for use in community projects, schools and simple project situations. It is called ‘Perform work using a project approach’.
